We are excited to announce that we are participating in #iGiveCatholic on #GivingTuesday, our nation's first-ever Catholic day of giving! This year it will be November 27 from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM CST. Your generous support makes a meaningful difference to IC Parish, especially our school. ICS is changing lives every day through religious education, but to keep up with the technological side of our students' schooling, we are looking to the future and hope to purchase individual Chrome Books for our schoolchildren. Chrome Books are extremely mobile and can be used in any scholastic setting, further enhancing the classroom experience. With your help, we hope to provide our students with the necessary tools to advance their technology skills. If we exceed our chrome book target, we will use the extra funds to purchase a commercial laminator needed by our school. To donate is as easy as 1-2-3! Visit iGiveCatholic.org, search for our diocese and parish, donate $25 or more. It's that simple! Our fundraising goal is set at $9,375. Please support our cause and help us strengthen the teachings of our hardworking students!

MINISTRY LEADERS: This would be a great opportunity to participate in the retreat and see if it might be a good retreat to bring to your parish.
The Daughters of St. Paul are pleased to announce the launch of their Online community for spiritual companionship called "My Sisters." The goal of this virtual community is to forge connection, provide spiritual mentorship, and above all live together in Christ. They will also have the chance to watch live streams of prayer or discussions with the sisters. Content will be divided by topic and theme and will include contributions from Pauline cooperators, priests and clergy, and expert Pauline Books & Media authors with unique and valuable faith perspectives. Anyone can join My Sisters for an introductory month for $1. Attached you will find "A Steward's Way of the Cross" from the International Catholic Stewardship Council, looking at the gift of the Lord's passion, death, and resurrection through the lens of stewardship. As participants reflect on the Stations of the Cross, we are called to consider what gifts are being given and received in each station so that we are able to receive and rejoice more fully in the gift of God in Christ.

“Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth, good will to men, I bring you good news of great joy to everyone.” These are the words the angels said over the hills outside of Bethlehem when they announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds tending sheep through the night. It was great news. A baby had been born and this baby was the demonstration of God’s love for us. That first Christmas is the reason we can live a life of purpose and significance. The baby in the manger was proof that God loved us, and that His love was deep enough to make a way for us to know Him. My prayer for you this Christmas is that you would experience a meaningful season and a significant life. My Christmas wish is that you come to a deeper knowledge of your mission in this life, as a member of God’s family, and a messenger of His Good News to others. Have a very Merry Christmas! Blessings and love as you receive, and then give the best gift of all. Fr Jarek
